You’ve landed at the new style Shutt’rblade, which I hope will be much more dynamic in promoting your business and provide a focus for anyone interested in shooting bands and musicians.
To post you will need to sing up to Tumblr and to comment on images you will need a Disqus account, that’s it!
Your posts should be the latest images from your shoot, it must be professional, promotional and music related, all posts will go through a submission process and only the best will get through, please add as much information about the shoot as you can or that your happy with and of course make sure you have absolute permission to publish from the band or management.
You can also add links to your business website, the bands pages or any other relevant links.
To submit an image:
1. Click on the ‘SUBMIT IMAGES’ button, top left of this window.
2. Chose ‘Submit a Photo’ from the drop-down menu. Ideally your image should be 1280px wide or smaller, click ‘browse’ to upload it to the site. It will be re-sized to fit the browser and a high-res version will be available to view.
If the high-res version is 1280px wide or less it will be hosted by Tumblr, if wider than this, Tumblr will link to the url you supply.
3. In the ‘caption’ window, type the title as the first line, then add details for the image plus any relevant links to your websites.
4. Click on ‘Set a click through link’ to add a link to your website.
5. Tick the ‘Terms’ and ‘Tags’ buttons and click ‘Submit’
